ICART Workshop test site

this is a test site - the contents are examples of what can be placed here. This was done by the participants at a workshop in September 2008.

It is now 2009 and we are soon getting ourselves organised to put up information on this component of the AIMS porta.

We are now fast approaching 2010 , so expect some changes finally...

Published on 25th Sep 2008

The facilitator of the ICART Workshop on the establishment of the AIMS Portal got a fright as the participants accidentally deleted some of the components of the website during the training session. There are lessons to be learnt!

The ICART Wiki

Q1.How dow we mainstream AIMS portal and functions into our day to day work activities so it is an integral part of our work rather than anextra?

Q2. Can we engange our Ministries of Science and Technology to help us promote AIMS concepts nationally?

Summary

How do we Create awareness of AIMS at our level?

Responses

Prepare reports for our offices and conduct seminars and/ short presentation using email where necesaary

Conduct training courses on AIMS to institutions

Prepare breifings and distribute to relevant organisations (hard copies) stating objectives and how AIMS and related portals operate, wht information is available, who are contact persons and how to access data.

A customisable Search Engine

You may also submit URLs to be included in search by this engine. At a later stage we will want to classify the kinds of information being displayed in the results.

The spreadsheet is expected to become the live version of the directory (until we have figured out how to manage the Organisational Directory and the spreadsheet simultaneously).
