ICART Workshop act as enabler to promote Institutional Repositories in South Africa

The South African ICART delegates to the AICKM workshop at St Georges Hotel, Pretoria, SA are now well equipped to promote agricultural institutional repositories for South Africa.
Presentations as well as breakaway sessions, discussing the primary requirements and considerations for the establishment, maintenance and governance of institutional repositories, including its role in Open Access, proved very valuable knowledge gained to be shared with the local and regional agricultural information community.
