This is a story of a successful partnership between the European Union, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the Southern African Development Community, has resulted in the creation of an agricultural information management system (AIMS). Agricultural Information Management System (AIMS) provides policy makers, planners and economic players access to reliable and timely information that is necessary for policy development, emergency preparedness, planning, and decision making in the context of programme management.
This study provides the views of the STOSAR team and AIMS stakeholders during their challenging adventure to innovate this state of the art information management system.
